80's music

Well, I have a request. I need some music from the 80's (think Michael Jackson thriller era) that I can play in my classroom on Monday. Next week is homecoming week and Monday is 80's day. The kids at school were talking about what a throwback!!! AAugh, I felt really old today. I do not actually want to buy the music, just borrow or download a cd or something. I have an ipod but not anything to dock it on because you all should know how much I love that music!
I am also trying to think of an outfit that I could put together from my closet. I know some of you young ones were probably only in elementary or middle school, but let me know if you think of anything.

Ah Yes! BIG Hair. Oh, I have the Monsters of Rap CD. VERY old school and funny!! I'll send it back with my Mom and Dad today and you can get it Sunday from them. If you want. I'll just have to get it from James' car. It's one of his faves :)

For a guy like me, born in the 40's, the 80's sounds like the latest greatest. I celebrated my 20th wedding anniversary in the 80's. Please don't tell me that is ancient history.

I have a couple 80's cds, or if you have internet in your classroom I can let you use my xm radio account. They have an 80's channel. Don't forget to peg roll your jeans. :)

Your replies were laugh out loud funny!!! I have to find a neon sweatshirt or t-shirt. I don't have a banana clip nor do I have enough hair to actually hold it in but I will definitely try and tease up the big hair. Pam, thanks for thinking of the monsters of rap cd. The kids will love it and I have anactivity day for them planned. This will take me back to the good ole days of high school. I actually did peg my pants because it was very cool. Thanks for your thoughts. If you think of any more ideas, let me know. Laurie, I'll look to see if the internet would stay connected, but the cd's would be great. Good times...good times.:)

Ok Chris, Mom has the CD, I also threw in a Bon Jovi from back in the day. Nothing says 80's like Livin on a Prayer.
Hope you have fun!

I totally forgot about Bon Jovi. I wonder if I could still find a pair of Jordache jeans...although the skin tight aspect might not win me any points. :P

James gave me a "I told you so" on the Monsters CD. Glad you had a good day and could use it. Did you take pictures of your super 80's self or do I need to go back to the big bow wedding pictures???

Pam, in the words of Dr. Seuss...I would not, could not take a picture of myself wearing the 80's outfit. Think bow on butt but almost more humiliating as I had to go to Staff Development and pick up books. I received a few stares and questioning looks. It was fun, though. Tell James that the music was good and the kids loved it. It turned out to be a fun day.
